Why I want this career change…

I’ve lived a rich life full of adventure. I’ve developed many valuable skills along the way and they are serving me well. I have gotten well past the stage of a client having to pay for my mistakes as I learn. Although I am well established in the Bay Area and things are going well for me, I now have grandchildren in Orange County. Of all of the experiences I’ve had and created, being close to them now is the direction I want in my life. I take pride in my work and in my art. I value that feeling as part of my compensation. Working for Disneyland would allow me to channel my efforts into lasting accomplishments that would be appreciated by many people for many years. It feels so much more noble than my current work that benefits a few clients behind closed doors or art that has to be dismantled after a few days. If I’m unable to land this offer, I hope that you will keep me in mind for a creative role in the future.
